| The Office
of Great Workplace Development exists to help the State of Michigan become a great
place to do great work! A great work place demands effective and
efficient processes. Historically work processes have been patched together,
designed by those not involved, and adjusted with shims and tacks to respond
to problems and concerns. Process Improvements are a critical
ingredient to achieving our vision. Through the Organizational
Development Officers (ODO) Network, the State of Michigan will create cross agency teams
of technically trained individuals to design and facilitate process
improvements and technology integration. The Organizational Improvement
initiative will be designed and rolled out in late 2005. |
