Nancy Macfarlane has spent her career in the non-profit sector. Her first job after college was a handicap coordinator for Head Start. During her career, she has worked with juvenile offenders, people with disabilities and prior to her current role as CEO, served as vice president of community impact for United Way of Greater Battle Creek. Ms. Macfarlane graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1976 and has completed both the Community Leadership Academy and the Michigan Leadership program.
