The Dominic J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans Post Fund donations are used to provide the Veterans with special activities, entertainment and outings. The fund also helps with the purchase of dentures, eyeglasses, hearing aids, etc. for Veterans who cannot afford to purchase these items

In the Fall of 2004, the
Michigan Legislature passed, and
Gov. Granholm signed into law, the Military Family Relief Fund Act.
The Military Family Relief Fund provides grants to qualifying families of military members in either the Michigan National Guard or Reserves who are called to active duty as a result of the national response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. You may also designate a portion of your income tax return by entering your contribution amount on line # 29 of your Individual Income Tax Return MI-1040
