Developing efficient transportation and retail systems is integral for the success of Michigan’s biofuel economy. This taskforce examines the number and distribution of ethanol and biodiesel pumps, pipelines, and routes, as well as promoting their expansion and use. Also, the commission members will develop renewable fuel standards and contracts to facilitate an easy transition from gasoline to alternative fuels.
