Traveling across the Upper Peninsula

August 14, 2012

Governor Rick Snyder headed to the Upper Peninsula on Monday to visit with folks all across Michigan's northern half. He started his trip with a ride to the top of the Mackinac Bridge, where he saw Pure Michigan in true "Spiderman" style.

From the Bridge, the governor headed to Manistique, where he toured Manistique Papers and held a town hall meeting. TV6 & FOX UP reported on the event:

The governor concluded his night at a town hall with business leaders in Menominee - a town that Governor Snyder described as one of Michigan's great manufacturing bases.
