WIC stands for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). WIC is a food and nutrition program that operates as an adjunct to prenatal and pediatric health care, thereby improving health outcomes and the prospects for appropriate growth and development during infancy and childhood to age 5 years.
