Open house planned for St. Ignace I-75 BL work

WHAT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will share plans for a project to repair a portion of the I-75 Business Loop (BL) in St. Ignace at an open house.

BACKGROUND: MDOT will be making pavement and joint repairs on the I-75 BL in St. Ignace, from the US-2 overpass to High Street. The project will include curb and gutter construction, as well as drain improvements. The work is scheduled to begin after the Fourth of July holiday, and be completed by August 28. Traffic will be maintained during construction with intermittent lane closures under flag control.
