Future MDOT projects on US-31 to be discussed July 13

WHAT: MDOT is holding afternoon and evening open-house style meetings to discuss proposed project designs for upcoming work on US-31 in Petoskey in Emmet County in 2011 and 2012.

BACKGROUND: MDOT is proposing two projects in the Petoskey area in Bear Creek Township, Emmet County. One project is being planned for 2011 on US-31 at the intersection of M-119. The other project is slated for 2012 on US-31 from Division to Rice streets.

This open house will allow residents and business owners an opportunity to talk one-on-one with MDOT officials regarding the proposed projects.
