MDOT to hold open house regarding M-59/Crooks Road improvements in Oakland County

WHAT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting an open house-style meeting to discuss the proposed interchange improvements at M-59 and Crooks Road in Rochester Hills. Residents, business owners and other interested stakeholders will have the opportunity to review proposed plans for upcoming interchange construction. MDOT staff will be on hand to answer questions about the proposed project.

BACKGROUND: MDOT is in the process of designing a new interchange at M-59 and Crooks Road. As part of the design, a new five-lane overpass will be constructed.

Consideration is being given to constructing either a partial cloverleaf design that is similar to the existing interchange or two roundabouts on the Crooks Road bridge.
