The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on
Monday, August 17, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of David Walters, #224036. It will be at
9:00 a.m.
at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
David Walters is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver Over 650 Grams of Cocaine, a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery of Over 650 Grams of Cocaine, and a 12y - 20y sentence for the crime of Possession with Intent to Deliver 50 - 225 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on
April 27, 1992
and
August 3, 1994
from Genesee County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
