I-75 lighting project in Sault Ste. Marie begins

STARTING DATE: Wednesday, July 22, 2009

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, Oct. 16, 2009

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be replacing tower freeway lighting along I-75 and the Easterday Avenue exit.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: All lanes will remain open throughout the project, though occasional lane closures with flag control will be required.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: When completed, this project will improve visibility and safety in this area.
