"Ask the DNR" returns to WNMU-TV Channel 13 in the Upper Peninsula Thursday, Sept. 3, at 8 p.m. The show will focus on the fall hunting seasons and recreational opportunities across the Upper Peninsula.

The hour-long program features a panel of Department of Natural Resources employees taking questions from callers and viewers via e-mail. Every question is answered, even if calls need to be made to viewers after the program concludes. Questions can be e-mailed to tv13@nmu.edu or phoned in during the live broadcast at 800-227-9668.

Thursday's show will feature DNR Conservation Officer Gerald Thayer from Chippewa County, along with DNR Wildlife Biologist Terry McFadden and DNR Recreation Specialist Ron Yesney, both from the DNR's Marquette Operations Service Center. The episode is underwritten in part by the U.P. Whitetails of Marquette County.

"Ask the DNR" is produced six times a year on WNMU-TV 13, the public television station in Marquette. It is aired on public television stations throughout the Upper Peninsula and northeastern Wisconsin. Please consult local television listings for replay times for the program.
