Brighton Recreation Area Riding Stable is hosting family friendly, but still haunted and scary, "GO-Get Outdoors" hayrides in the woods each weekend in October.
The hayrides will be held every Friday and Saturday evening, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., beginning with the "premiere night" on Friday, Oct. 2.
Admission is $10 per person, and folks who show up for the hayride on premiere night will receive $4 off the regular price. Discount coupons can also be found on the Brighton Recreation Area Riding Stable's Web site at www.brightonrecridingstable.com. All proceeds will go to the Brighton Recreation Area Riding Stable to help pay for their continued operations.

All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the entrance. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A non-resident annual is $29 and a non-resident daily is $8.
