PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is reconstructing the Chippewa County EDC Railroad spur crossing on M-80, and repaving approximately one-half mile of the highway. The project will also include replacement of the crossing signals.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: During construction, traffic will be detoured around the crossing on Gaines Highway, M-80 and Mackinac Trail.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT: This project will improve ride quality and safety at the crossing.
