Work on US-41/M-28 intersection in Harvey begins July 13

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be reconstructing the pavement at the US-41/M-28/Cherry Creek Road intersection in Harvey. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: During construction, MDOT will temporarily widen the intersection to accommodate one through-lane in each direction and one center left-turn lane for US-41/M-28 traffic. Cherry Creek Road will be closed at the intersection, with traffic detoured on Carmen Drive. There will be a temporary traffic signal located south of the intersection. Motorists should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
