US-2 resurfacing begins Monday in Mackinac County

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, Aug. 28, 2009

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be resurfacing 6 miles of US-2 in Mackinac County, from Brevort Lake Road to Martin Lake Road. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: This work will require traffic shifts and lane closures with flag control.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: When completed, this project will improve ride quality and extend the pavement service life.
