Change in signal operation at two locations on M-43 (Saginaw Street) in Lansing

START DATE: Saturday, Feb. 13 , 2010

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Starting on Saturday, the traffic signals at Saginaw Street and Butler Boulevard, and Saginaw Street at Chicago Street, located just east of M-99 (MLK Jr. Boulevard), will switch to flash mode for 90 days. The light will flash yellow for Saginaw Street traffic and red for local traffic.

Once the 90-day period has expired, the signals will be removed.

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will remove the two signals due to low traffic volumes at these locations.
