Genealogy research is a fast-growing and fascinating hobby. If you're sleuthing your family's history, you should know about the valuable resources available from the Library of Michigan and the Archives of Michigan at www.michigan.gov/familyhistory.

Both are open to the public for genealogy research and are located in the Michigan Library and Historical Center building (702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing). Please note that the Library of Michigan and the Archives of Michigan have different operating hours.
