Mackinac Island State Park Visitor's CenterEastern Woodland Indian Art Exhibit and Sale at Colonial Michilimackinac, Mackinaw City, July 19-20, 2008
Mackinac State Historic Parks will host a frontier art show featuring works by Robert Griffing in the Visitor's Center of Colonial Michilimackinac, located under the south end of the Mackinac Bridge. The show features framed and matted prints, videos, stationery, and note cards depicting 18th- century Native American and military history. Hardbound copies of "The Art of Robert Griffing" are also available. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is included with Colonial Michilimackinac tickets.

This annual gala to kick off the holiday season - held the night after Lansing's Silver Bells in the City - raises funds to help more than 80,000 students each year learn and explore Michigan's history.
