PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is scheduled to begin pavement and resurfacing work on M-53 in Sanilac County. This work, which is scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 29, tends 5.4 miles from the north city limits of Marlette to M-46. Pyramid Paving and Contracting Company of Essexville, Mich. is the contractor.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: For the duration of this project, at least one lane will remain open in each direction with traffic maintained using flag control.
