The Commission on Services to the Aging (CSA) and the Office of Services to the Aging (OSA) conduct public hearings around Michigan to seek input on issues of concern to older adults in our state.
This year four public hearings have been scheduled: March 21 at Evangelical Homes in Sterling Heights, April 18 at OSA in Lansing, May 16 at the Grand Haven Senior Center, and Oct. 17 at the University Center in Gaylord.
All hearings will be held 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Those concerned with transportation, nutrition, housing, long term care (LTC), health, independence, scams, employment, volunteer opportunities, and other issues that are important to older adults, are invited to attend and provide testimony.
In addition to comments received from citizens at the public hearings, OSA encourages the submission of written testimony. Mail written testimony to OSA, PO Box 30676, Lansing, 48909-8176, attention Cindy Albrecht, or e-mail to Albrecht@michigan.gov, or fax to 517/373-4092.
