Long Term Care Information

Long-term care (LTC) means different things to different people. Generally it refers to assistance with everyday activities like eating, dressing, bathing, and toileting. It can also include more involved services and even 24-hour care.  Over 12 million people in the United States currently receive help with everyday activities. By thinking ahead and planning carefully, you and your family members can prepare for a smooth, comfortable transition to long-term care, should you ever need it. Michigan's Online Long Term Care Resource Network will assist families with information about planning ahead for long term care and identifying resources available in support of long term care services.
