Michigan's Next Great Companies program is an economic development initiative focused on both attracting and growing companies with great workplace cultures. Spearheading the initiative is Michigan's First Gentleman Dan Mulhern, who recruited an advisory board core team that is a "Who's Who" of great workplace experts. They represent organizations with headquarters or significant operations in Michigan that have been recognized for their excellence in creating, sustaining and supporting great corporate cultures.

The mission of Michigan's Next Great Companies is "To make the business case through discussion, networking and resources for why every Michigan company should strive to be a great place to work." To make that case, Michigan's ESTABLISHED great companies will help develop Michigan's NEXT great companies.
