October 7, 2009 -- Motorists have only a few more days to provide feedback to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) about the department's Mi Drive traffic Web site (www.michigan.gov/drive). The public is asked to complete a short pop-up survey to evaluate the traffic information and maps on the site to ensure that MDOT is meeting the needs of motorists who go online to plan their routes. The survey will continue to be available until the close of business on Monday, Oct. 12.
"We remain committed to keeping Michigan motorists safe, mobile and informed. We want to know what people think of this Web site to ensure that motorists have the traffic information they need before they get behind the wheel," said State Transportation Director Kirk T. Steudle.
The Mi Drive site is maintained by MDOT and the Michigan Department of Information Technology in cooperation with the state's Center for Shared Solutions & Technology Partnerships and the Intelligent Transportation Systems program office within the MDOT Division of Operations.
