Get information on Michigan's lighthouses?

For more than a century, Michigan's 116 lighthouses have watched over the Great Lakes. Visit the publication request page (http://travel.michigan.org/form_publication.asp) and order a copy of Michigan Travel Ideas, which lists lighthouses that are accessible or open to the public. Or go to the Travel Michigan website (http://travel.michigan.org). Click on the "Attractions" tab and go to the "Lighthouses" category.

The State Historic Preservation Office provides Web pages about the Michigan Lighthouse Project starting at http://www.michigan.gov/hal/0,1607,7-160-17449_18638_21818---,00.html. There is also visitor information about lighthouses open to the public at http://www.michigan.gov/documents/hal_Inv_81954_7._Michigan_Maritime.doc.
