Seven Lakes State Park Hosting 'GO-Get Outdoors' Camper Survivor Weekend Sept. 6-7

Seven Lakes State Park is hosting a "Camper GO-Get Outdoors Survival Weekend" on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 7, for the campers at the Sand Lake campground.

Campers will test their skills with challenging games including a canoe-water bucket race, a foot race around the lake, a canoe relay race, a water balloon launching contest, a poker run, a wheel water barrel race and many more for all ages. Points will be earned and prizes will be awarded to the family with the highest number of points.

Seven Lakes State Park is located at 14390 Fish Lake Rd. in Holly. For more information about this event, accessibility, or persons needing accommodations to attend this event, contact the park supervisor of Seven Lakes State Park at 248-634-7271 (or TTY/TDD711 Michigan Relay Center for the hearing impaired) at least seven days prior to the weekend, or view information about accessibility details at www.michigan.gov/sevenlakes.

All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the entrance. Cost is $24 for resident annual and $6 for resident daily. A non-resident annual is $29 and a non-resident daily is $8.
