Michigan in the Civil War

Location: Walker Tavern, Brooklyn

Civil War reenactors fire a cannon.
More than 300 military and civilian reenactors create a lively atmosphere, portraying life during the Civil War. Visitors can:

  • witness battle reenactments and artillery demonstrations
     
  • take part in hands-on activities and watch craft demonstrations
     
  • purchase historical wares
Admission to the Civil War Reenactment is $5 per vehicle.

Attention, teachers! There will be a special presentation for school groups on Friday, May 3. If your school group is interested in attending, please contact Walker Tavern.
