Mears State Park--Fall Volunteer Weekend

Date:  October 05, 2013  -  October 06, 2013
Time:  09:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Location: Charles Mears State Park, 400 West Lowell Street, Pentwater, MI, 49449
Charles Mears State Park is once again hosting their annual Fall Volunteer Weekend. Volunteers will be asked to help install snow fence as well as other tasks such as painting, cleaning fire pits etc. This is a great opportunity to give back to the park or gain volunteer hours. Saturday evening volunteers will celebrate a job well done with a Pot Luck. Please bring a dish to pass and your own beverage.

Please Note: The Michigan Department of Natural Resources makes every effort to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information on the web calendar. However, dates occasionally change and events may be canceled for any reason. Please call the unit hosting the event to confirm dates and times prior to your arrival.

A Recreation Passport is required for entry into all Michigan State Parks and Recreation Areas. Check "YES" when you renew your license plate. Learn more at www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport.
