Brighton Recreation Area--Native American Pow Wow

Location: Brighton Recreation Area, 6360 Chilson Road, Howell, MI, 48843

The All Nations Veterans Council will be hosting a traditional Native American Indian Pow Wow. The event will include traditional native dance, food, dress ceremonies and authentic Native American arts and crafts. There will be different styles of dancing with public participation encouraged. There will also be two Grand Entry parades each day. The event runs from 10 a.m. to dusk on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. For more details go to www.teachingourtraditions.com.
