Bald Mountain Recreation Area--Rec 101: Intro to Archery

Please note: There will be two sessions on 10/12. The first session is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the second session is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Are you looking for some instruction on Archery? Join the DNR and local high school instructors for this free, hands-on demo of the sport of archery. You will receive a step-by-step introduction to the basics of archery safety, terminology, what equipment to use and how to hold the bow. Plus there will be lots of shooting time at the end in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

NOTE: This event is FREE, and takes place rain or shine. Please pre-register by calling the Rec Area at 248-693-6767 and to find out where the event will be taking place in the park. There are sessions taking place on September 28 as well.
