Visitor Centers
Do you know how the sand dunes along Lake Michigan were formed? Or why Tahquamenon Falls looks like root beer? Have you ever seen an animal track and wondered what kind of critter made it? Michigan State Park and Recreation Areas host 10 visitor centers statewide. Each focuses on the unique characteristics of that area's features, flora and fauna. Be sure to check out the current event flyers for special family programs.
