• Visitor Centers
Ten Visitor Centers and Hatcheries statewide offer educational programs for teachers and students. Each highlight a different aspect of Michigan's natural resources, such as sand dunes, forests or fish. These programs are free. Most Visitor Centers require advance reservations for schools and large groups, so be sure to check the "School Programs" section of their web pages.

Biddle House KitchenHistoric Downtown Buildings, Mackinac Island, Open through mid-June through mid-Aug. 2012
Mackinac State Historic Parks' five historic downtown buildings are open to the public between June 11–August 20. They are located throughout downtown Mackinac Island, including Market Street, Main Street, also known as Huron Street, and Fort Street. One general admission ticket gets you into all five Mackinac Island Historic Downtown Buildings.

The DNR and a Mentored Youth Hunting team are hard at work on the regulations to govern this important program. You won't find a state with a prouder hunting tradition than Michigan!
