The DNR has several field locations which have regularly scheduled fishing events. Consider planning a visit to one in the near future!

Carl T. Johnson Hunt and Fish Center
Located in Cadillac, the Carl T. Johnson Hunt and Fish Center is within Mitchell State Park and was named for the founder of the Michigan Conservation Foundation. The center is universally accessible and has many different fishing, hunting and natural resources-based events scheduled all year long.

Oden State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center
Located in Oden, the Oden State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center is the site of the original fish hatchery building which began operations in 1921. The center offers many programs, mostly during the summer months.

Wolf Lake Hatchery Visitor Center
Located in Mattawan, the Wolf Lake Hatchery Visitor Center provides lots of quality programming that tells the tale of Michigan's Great Lakes fisheries and the role fish hatcheries play. The center has a variety of fishing and natural resources-related events scheduled throughout the year.
