MDOT to hold public meeting on proposed replacement of West Grand Boulevard bridge over I-94 in Detroit

WHAT: An open house-style meeting to provide an overview of the proposed replacement of the West Grand Boulevard overpass above I-94 in Detroit. Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn details about this project.

BACKGROUND: While a construction year has not yet been chosen, MDOT is designing new overpasses to replace the existing West Grand Boulevard bridges over I-94. The project will replace the antiquated H-style structures with more modern overpasses and eliminate the current eastbound I-94 left-lane exit to West Grand Boulevard.
