MDOT to hold public meeting on upcoming M-1 (Woodward Avenue) resurfacing in Oakland County

WHAT: 
An open house-style meeting to provide an overview of the upcoming M-1 (Woodward Avenue) resurfacing project between 14 Mile Road and Oakridge Boulevard in the cities of Royal Oak, Berkley, Huntington Woods and Pleasant Ridge. Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn details about the upcoming project.

BACKGROUND: Scheduled to begin in May, the project includes resurfacing more than 5 miles of M-1. Work includes ramp and sidewalk improvements compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), concrete island repairs and new pavement markings.
