M-46 roadwork begins Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Gratiot and Saginaw counties

PROJECT DETAILS:
Milling and resurfacing on M-46 from Crosswell Road in the city of St. Louis east to the west village limits of Merrill.

Work includes joint repairs and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant ramp upgrades.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:

Daytime intermittent single-lane closures on M-46.

2-mile-long sections will be milled and resurfaced, then reopened.

Work will be done in one direction at a time.
