Homeschoolers at the Michigan Historical Museum

The Michigan Historical Museum offers two special events for homeschoolers to discover our exhibits and programs.

  • Friday, October 18, 2013
    4 to 8 p.m.
    Activities throughout the galleries underscore State of Michigan curriculum standards; pizza and beverage provided.
    Fee: $5 per person; children 4 and under are free
     
  • Friday May 2, 2014
    4 to 8 p.m.
    Special guests help students understand Michigan's industrial, economic and military contributions in World War II; pizza and beverage provided.
    Fee: $5 per person; children 4 and under are free

The Michigan Historical Museum—flagship of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Sunday admission and weekend parking are free.
