Governor Rick Snyder, along with officials from the Michigan History Foundation, the Michigan Historical Center and Museum and the Department of Natural Resources, will unveil the Governor's Decision Room at the Michigan Historical Center at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28.
The Governor's Decision Room is a new educational program at the museum aimed at high school students. It involves students role-playing figures from Michigan's past facing complex public policy decisions, and will help students strengthen their critical thinking, decision-making and communications skills.
The Michigan Historical Center and Museum is located at 702 W. Kalamazoo St., in Lansing. Media attending the event should check in at the visitor services desk at the museum entrance to be directed to the Governor's Decision Room.
