Lt. Gov. Calley to Meet with Detroit Business Leaders on Improving Michigan's Regulatory Efficiency and Business Climate

September 18, 2013 - After more than two years transforming state government, Michigan has become a leader in implementing positive changes for business. However, state government still has too many delays, duplicative forms and impractical regulations and practices hurting Michigan’s businesses.

To continue to address these issues and discuss the positive impacts of recent Good Government regulatory reforms, Lt. Governor Brian Calley, Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) Director Steve Arwood, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) COO Steve Hilfinger and other local area business leaders are holding a business roundtable on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 3:15 p.m.
