State Efforts to Protect Gasoline Purchasers
Assuring consumer protection and fairness in the marketplace is one of the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development's top priorities. One of the most important but often overlooked areas in which MDARD plays this role is in ensuring the quality and quantity of gasoline distributed and sold in Michigan. These efforts help ensure that motorists get what they pay for and that there is a level playing field in the state. In addition, the MDARD is now helping citizens by monitoring gasoline price averages.
