Enjoy a family-friendly fishing tournament on Lake Minnawanna with trophies being awarded for the largest legal-size fish by weight in both adult and youth age categories. The tournament is open to the public and registration (free) takes place the morning of the event at the red barn activity building. Participants must provide their own bait, fishing poles and gear. Children must be accompanied by an adult (18+), be able to catch their own fish and present it themselves at the weigh-in. All fish must be of legal size and all DNR fishing rules apply. Fish may be caught from shore or by boat. Lake Minnawanna is a "no wake lake." The event will take place rain or shine and will only be canceled in the chance of severe weather.
