Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be in St. Clair County to serve area customers on Tuesday, March 10.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be at the St. Clair County Community College campus, 323 Erie St., in Port Huron, as part of a Project Homeless Connect event. The event will offer resources available to area homeless people.

"The Mobile Branch Office offers area residents a convenient option to conduct their Secretary of State business," Land said. "I encourage area residents to take advantage of this opportunity."

The facility is a full-service Secretary of State branch office and is accessible to people with disabilities. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer that has logged more than 125,000 miles since it first hit the road more than 10 years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department's online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, license tabs and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site will help customers determine requirements before they go to an office.
