Kalamazoo County PLUS Office great option for area residents seeking Secretary of State services

A larger public area, new public bathrooms and a redesigned counter area all await customers of the Kalamazoo County PLUS Office at its new location, Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land reminded residents today.

The office at 3298 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo moved to its new location in October. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

"Kalamazoo-area residents have two great offices to choose from if they need service at the counter," Land said. "I encourage people to stop by and take a look at what we're offering at the new Kalamazoo County PLUS Office."

Kalamazoo County residents also are served by the South Kalamazoo County PLUS Office at 603 Romence Road in Portage, which has seen increased customer traffic since the other Kalamazoo-area office relocated. Customers visiting the new location of the Kalamazoo County PLUS Office will likely experience faster service due to this shift. Both offices have the same services, including expanded Wednesday hours, a Self-Service Station for convenient tab renewals and the ability to pay with a MasterCard or Discover card at the counter.

Land also encouraged customers to consider using the Secretary of State's services available online and through the mail, which allows them to "skip the trip" to a branch.
