Filing a Complaint

• Non-Jurisdictional Complaints
Non-jurisdictional complaints involve facts and issues not covered by the Michigan Vehicle Code or Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act.

• Automotive Complaint Information and Form
If you have a complaint with a repair facility or a vehicle dealer, talk to the owner or manager. When you bring a problem to the manager's attention, you may be able to work out a settlement.

• Verify a Vehicle Dealer or Repair Facility License
Verify whether a motor vehicle dealer or repair facility is properly licensed or registered by the Department of State.
