Provisional Ballot Report Deadline: The deadline for city and townships to submit Provisional Ballot Reports to the county is Tuesday November 9, 2004.
It is recommended that on November 9 county clerks contact the clerks of any cities and townships that have not yet submitted the provisional ballot reports to avoid any unnecessary delays in forwarding this information to the Bureau of Elections.
Early Report Request: Bureau of Elections staff contacted all county clerk offices last week, requesting a count of the total number of envelope ballots reported in each county. If you have not yet responded, please call 1-800-292-5973 and report your totals to Ruth Lee. These totals can be obtained from the Provisional Ballot Reports that have already been sent to you from cities and townships.
