November General Voter History Deadline: The deadline to enter voter history for the November General is December 16th. Voter history entered after December 16th will not be reflected in the QVF Voter Turnout Report (the official statistical report for voter history). To ensure the report's accuracy, all voter history must be entered by the December 16th deadline. Voter history entered after this deadline will still be reflected in the individual voter records and reports produced through the Custom Voter List module.

The statistics presented in the Voter Turnout report are a snapshot of the voter history entered before the 45th day deadline. The statistics are calculated by our servers once per night meaning that your site must complete a 2-day replication cycle before the voter history will be reflected by the Voter Turnout report. Replicating multiple times in a single day will not expedite this process.

If you do not have access to the QVF, please make arrangements with your county clerk to have the voter history entered into the QVF.

QVF Statewide Index New Features: On December 1, 2004 users will notice a significant change to the QVF Statewide Lookup. We will be activating a new security measure called SSL to help protect the data accessed through the site. We ask that you begin accessing the site using the following link:

If you are prompted with a Security Alert, click YES to view the site.

In addition to the security update, we have implemented a new service that allows users to administer their own Statewide Lookup user password. A link to this new feature can be found on the main Statewide Lookup page after you have successfully logged into the site. To change your password, click on the Change Password link, type in the new password then click Change Password. When you have finished, click Done to return to the main screen. We suggest that users change their password every three months.

The final new feature can be found on the main screen of the Statewide Lookup after you have successfully logged into the site. We have created a field there titled "Current User Accounts" that lists all Statewide Lookup userids currently associated to your jurisdiction. We added this feature to help maintain a valid account of userids that are allowed access to the site. If you notice that your jurisdiction has userids that need to be removed or if you question any of the userids listed on that screen, please contact the QVF helpdesk immediately for assistance at 1-800-310-5697.
