Clerk Accreditation Training Sessions:(Final
opportunity this year!)Please
be advised that it is a mandatory requirement under the provisions of Michigan
election law that all county, city, township and village clerks be accredited
to carry out their duties as election officials. It merits emphasis that if you are the clerk of a village
that has opted to conduct its election in September of the odd numbered year,
you must complete the clerk accreditation process.
Several accreditation make-up sessions have been scheduled
for the month of June.A complete
listing of dates, times and locations is provided below. As indicated above, this will be
your final opportunity this year to complete the clerk accreditation process. If you have not received state
accreditation as an election administrator, please contact Sandy Prenger at (517)
335-5141 at your earliest convenience to register. If you prefer, you may contact Sandy by email at prengers@michigan.gov.
