Voter Information Center: The Department of State is making a change to improve the scope and performance of the popular Michigan Voter Information Center.  To make this happen we will fully integrate the application into the Department of State's website, where it will reside with other related applications.
 
This change coincides with the conclusion of our contract with Publius, Inc., which expired on August 15. It has been a fruitful partnership, which has provided an excellent service to the public. We are pleased to have partnered for the past several years with Publius. We share many of the same goals.  Together we have created valuable and progressive tools for the people of Michigan.  We have no doubt that due to our combined efforts the voting public is better-prepared, and more engaged than ever before.  We hope to continue working with Publius, Inc. in their various endeavors to provide excellent information to Michigan Voters.
 
The Department of State plans to have its new site up and running in several weeks, but for a short time, our site appear with an "under construction" header.  We will contact you again when our new and improved search capabilities come online. Many jurisdictions have linked their own websites to the Voter Information Center.  If your jurisdiction has done so, you may wish to terminate the link until the new site is up and running.
