Oracle Server Upgrade Complete - the QVF Server Upgrade in Lansing has finished. Sites may now replicate their servers manually using the instructions found below. The high volume of replications may require that some sites restart their replication up to three times. If you are still having difficultly replicating after three attempts, please try replicating later today. If you receive an error message stating "EXECUTION OF 1 JOBS FAILED", please close the Server Manager then re-attempt the replication.

Performing a Manual Replication:

• Go to the QVF Server Manager
• A message will appear, reminding you that no other programs should be open. 
• Click OK. 

• (All boxes will be checked automatically)

• Click on UPDATE SERVER NOW. 
• When the notice SERVER UPDATED SUCCESSFULLY appears, click on OK.  You may now use the QVF program. 

If your software update fails, please close the QVF Server Manager, reopen and restart the update.  If it fails more than 3 times, contact the QVF Helpdesk at 1-800-310-5697.

December 17th QVF Software Upgrade - We are encouraging sites to begin getting prepared for the major QVF software upgrade that is scheduled to begin on December 17th.  To prepare, make sure that your QVF data is replicated regularly beginning Today. If you plan to be out of the office during any portion of the upgrade, please be sure that someone will be available in your office to perform a replication in your absence. If you will not be available on Friday, December 16th, you may perform a replication on the last day that you will be in your office, then follow that replication by shutting down the QVF server before you leave.
