Holiday Hours: The Bureau of Elections will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 24 through December 26 for Christmas. We will also be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 31 through January 2, 2004 in honor of the New Year. We will resume our regular hours of operation on Monday, January 5, 2004. Have a safe and happy holiday season!
QVF Inbox Cancellation Notice Reminder: When you receive notification in your inbox that a voter was cancelled by user names REGOS@STATE(0) or REGOS2@STATE(0), this means that the Department of State has received hardcopy notification that the individual has registered to vote in another state. This information is then entered into the QVF system by our staff as an immediate cancellation. In this case, you are not required to send the voter a cancellation notice.
A copy of the original hardcopy notification is retained by our office for approximately 2 weeks. If you receive this type of cancellation notification and you believe that the individual was canceled in error, please contact the Help Desk at 1-800-310-5697.
